Caedmon & I made a special trip home in August to celebrate my dad's wedding to Kay Peters who hails from California. She is a retired physical therapist and an amazing lady who loves Jesus. Caedmon & I got to witness the 7minute 30second nuptials on August 8th in Walla Walla, followed by a short and sweet reception. Why did Caedmon get to come along? Well, he's an 11th grader and will likely not have another opportunity to see colleges in person before he applies next year. When a family signs up to live at the ends of the earth in 2024, they're also signing up to homeschool their kids! Well, in that realm over the past 12 years I have had the privilege of witnessing Erin's transformation from intimidated to expert . In addition to her other responsibilities as a full-fledged team member, Erin has poured herself into the educating of our kids well , and more recently even growing into an equipper of other expats living abroad to do the same. Here are a couple photos I snapped from a recent opportunity she had to do some in-person training for a large group, in addition to her almost daily personal consulting via the internet.
Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to help 33 needy elementary, middle and high school students by purchasing uniforms, school supplies, and even registering a young lady who had dropped out of school altogether. See some of their photos here: 2025 Scholarship Recipients
