Months of Work and Regularity
I hope your fall is progressing well. Though our weather feels much more like the hight of summer, we are into the fall swing of homeschooling.
Since April, John has been blessed to continue with his Book work and I, Erin, have been working on writing curriculum to teach through the Book. I am blessed to have another lady to work with in determining which of His stories to write lessons for and which truths to emphasize in each. As the whole Book is active, living, and useful, limiting to any number of stories is challenging.
The kids’ homeschooling went well into August due to our transition back into homeshooling from wonderful public schooling experiences in the States. Caedmon took a drawing course for fun during the summer until we picked back up with school in September. Evangeline turned seven and is excited to be a second grader. Whitman continues to read any book available and has begun teaching neighbors how to play his favorite video games.

Caedmon also had a birthday, bringing him into driving-with-a-parent age - at least by the US’s laws. Being 15 in this country though does not give him any additional benefits as the driving age is 17 and they do not have a “permit” type system.
We are also blessed by have new co-workers since our return from the States in January. Though their three children are much younger, 1 month, and 1 and 3 years old, our kids have enjoyed their company! Caedmon is also learning some mixed martial arts (MMA) moves from the husband.

The continuation of our fall will bring an adjustment for the future. We recently were informed that John's current community development worker visa is no longer extendable past January 14th. The next best path forward to continue the work here seems to be starting a business. Please join us in lifting up this next endeavor as we seek much wisdom in what and how!
